Hello Fritzegerald,

Thank you for posting in the support center! The type of ASN you use often depends on how you're shipping the product and which trading partner you are working with. I took a look at account and noticed you have quite a few different trading partners. Would you please let me know which retailers ASN's you are wondering about? I would be happy to explain the differences between the types with that information.

Hey Fritzgerald,

Thanks for providing that screen shot. Below are some details regarding those different ASN options.

ASN: DC- This ASN is used when your shipment is being sent to a distribution center.

ASN: PP - This ASN is used when you have multiple line items that are being sent on a shipment

Advance Ship Notice: Standard- This ASN is used when you have only one line item on a shipment.

I hope this helps clarify the differences between the ASN's for Toys R Us. If you do have any additional questions about these ASN's, please let me know!

Have a great day!

Kayla,
Thank you for the clarity. For the specific PO that generated this question, it qualifies to 2 of the 3 options. Being ASN: DC & ASN: Standard. I tried both and went with ASN: DC because in completion of filling it out, the UCC labels were correct versus ASN: Standard, where it gave me the quanities is "eaches" instead of "masterpacks" on the UCC labels.

Unless you note otherwise, I believe we're good to go. Thanks for your help.

Hey Fritzgerald,

Yes, I would always recommend using the ASN: DC for any orders when shipping to a distribution center.

Let me know if have any further questions in the future!
