Tom,

Thank you for contacting the Support Center! In regards to your question, that will determine on a few factors. Archiving a document puts that document "out of sight" and aids in keeping your inbox clutter free and more organized. Once you un-archive the document again, you will be able to search for in normally (using that "Search by document ID" field above the status column.) The document may or may not show up in your inbox. This can depend on a couple settings:

1. How many documents are set to be viewed on one page: If you currently have it set to show 20 per page and the recently un-archived document would be the 21st document in the list, you will either have to click the arrow at the bottom of the page to move to page two or search for the document itself in the search bar mentioned above.
2. Setting for number of months in the inbox: If you set this document back, but it does not fit in the setting for how long a document will remain in your inbox (1 month all the way up to a year) it will not show up in your inbox. Once again you will have to utilize the search function to locate that document. Or if it does fit in the time parameter, you may have to move to the next page of you inbox as well.

Both of these setting can be changed in the Preferences section on the left side of your screen immediately after New Document.
