My company exchanges business transactions electronically through EDI. However, I am filling out a form for Burlington and they are asking, "...in what delivery method? VAN, AS2, FTP, E-mail, or other." I just do not speak this language. What delivery method should I choose. When orders are placed we receive an e-mail. But what is VAN, AS2, & FTP?

Good Afternoon Haley,

That is a great question.  VAN, AS2, and FTP are data-flow connection methods which can be used to connect two trading partners.  Since you are a WebForms customer, this part of the connection is taken care of by SPS sort of behind the scenes.  Typically, we connect to Burlington through the VAN connection type.  It looks like you do not have a current setup with Burlington, but if that is something you are looking to get setup, you can contact our Client Services team who can help you get that started.  I've provided their contact information below.  Please let me know if you have any additional questions or if you would like me to clarify anything.  Have a great day!
