I assigned the same ID# to 2 different orders. How can i fix

Thank you for posting in the Support Center!

If both documents are sent: there is no way to change that at this point.  They will reach your trading partner with that information.  If they are saved in your drafts, you can edit one or the other before sending from the drafts folder.

If they are both sent, it is possible that the trading partner will reject the second one and only accept the first one.  Most programs are set to reject duplicate Id numbers as their system will not accommodate that.

The best practice is to reach out to the trading partner, tell them about the error and then ask them to disregard the second one. They may have already errored it out, so then they will know you are aware of the issue.  Then resend the second one with the correct ID number for it.
