I'm new to SPS.  Trying to send an ASN.  When I try to copy and paste a tracking number (ie container #) from my warehouse database to webforms I'm getting an error message (must contain at least 1 - 30 characters), but when I manually input the same tracking number it accepts it.  Have always been able to copy/paste with our other edi vendor.  What's up?  Manual entry creates potential for errors.  Don't want to have to manually enter every tracking number.

Good Morning Pam,

I think what is happening is when you copy then paste, the paste function is putting the number in there twice rather than just one time.  That is a known issue with data entry.  There is a work around that allows you to paste data in to reduce that manual entry.

Copy it as you would, but rather than doing paste (ctrl + P), simply hold down the Shift key and push Insert (located just above the arrow keys).  This should only paste the data into the form one time.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.  Thanks for your post
