Warehouse Import Error Report

Good morning,

I am submitting this post on behalf of Daymen Photo. They recently brought in their first shipping advice within their test GP2013 environment.

When they receive the order, the master SKU is included in the data. Their system breaks it down to the components to send to Archway for shipping instructions. The product is not marked as a kit SKU. When the shipping advice comes back, it includes the component SKUs since that is what Archway shipped.

Process Logic generated a Warehouse Import Error Report which indicated that the items were not found on the order.

Document # 45703483
Date: 11/16/15

Associated to order # ORD0059251

Daymen stated that the document was able to come in without any issue, but would like more information about why the report is unable to identify the items.

Hi Amy,

When the order was imported, was it only the master SKU that got added to the order?  If yes, does the customer add the components and send the document to Archway or is the order left alone with just the master SKU on it?  Did this customer upgrade to GP2013 or is this a new implementation with GP2013?

Hi Mai,

In this test case, Daymen created the kit order in their GP system. It was a "non-EDI" customer order. They created the customer order with the parent SKU in GP. GP recognized the item as a kit and sent the shipment to Archway with only the component SKUs. Archway then sent the 856 back using only the component SKUs. Bringing this into the system triggered the Warehouse Import Error Report.

This is associated to an upgrade to GP2013.
