Are you aware of the upcoming required changes for Walmart EDI?  If not, I can forward the documentation I have.  If so, what are your plans for testing and implementation?

Apologies on the large delay here, I have had a lot of conversation regarding this change this week.  Our Development Team will be adding the Department Number to the Invoice prior to October 12th when Walmart will begin sending POs with the Department Number, and the POs are already set up to receive the Department Number.  This will not be sent on every PO, and therefore will not be a mandatory field on the Invoice.  I would assume it will automatically source from the PO to the Invoice, and it will not change your workflow at all.

I will confirm via this post when the updates have been made.

Good afternoon Chuck,

I owe you a long-overdue response here.  Beginning October 12th, Walmart began including Department Number on a select number of POs.  This Department Number is then included on the Invoice.  While we were set up to receive this new code/qualifier, our team did some development and testing of the transfer to the Invoice.  This has been completed and I do not show any failed data in the system.  This should not result in additional work on the Invoice.
