Hello,

I'm working with our customer Old World Industries, and they are having issues automatically closing our ASN's because we hard coded the value 'N/A' in the CarrierProNumber tag.  Since we don't always have a pro number they said it was okay if we omitted the field all together.  When I do this however, I get a "Document Processing Error" due to a missing pro number.  Would it be possible to update the map for this customer to allow for the CarrierProNumber to not be a required, or suppress this value so the customer doesn't see it?

In regards to your question, for this trading partner the mapping cannot be updated without direct communication from your trading partner that they want this changed, as it would be a change for all of their customers. One suggestion is trying to send NA vs N/A as their EDI requirements state this identifier should be alphanumeric. Their requirements also explicitly lay out using NA when Carrier Pro is not available, so this is most likely the issue.
