Please advise if there is a way to search a Trading Partner for Purchase orders received that an ASN has NOT been transmitted.  This would secure a way of finding an order that we did not process.  Specifically I am working on MSC Industrial Supply.  Thank you.

Hi Vicki,

Thank you for your post! The best way to tell is to use related documents, create a dynamic folder or utilize the label column to label which orders have had an ASN sent from them. If you would like to learn more about dynamic folders please click here for instructions!

Our development team is currently working to add this as a feature for our new generation WebForms portal.

The Dynamic Search does not help me out.

Good morning Vicki,

The label feature should treat you well for the time being (As Kelsey mentioned, this is something that is currently being worked on for the next generation WebForms).  After utilizing the label feature, the Dynamic Search should do what you are looking for in finding orders that ASNs have NOT been transmitted for.  Check the below process and it may give you a different perspective on the Dynamic Folder's video above.

  1. Label POs when sending the ASN. I chose the phrase "ASN Sent," however what makes sense to you can be out here.

  2. Use the Search function near the upper-right of the screen, filling out the search similar to below (with MSC Industrial).  By selecting "Documents Not Labeled" in the Label portion, you will get any PO that has not been labeled with the label created above.

  3. Click the "Save" button in blue as seen above.  You will have the chance to name your search as well as create a Dynamic Folder.  I would advise checking the box for the Dynamic Folder.

You will now see the saved search along the left-hand side of your page.  Feel free to correct me if I misinterpreted, but it seems this "work-around" will help in obtaining your goal for the time being.

Happy Friday Vicki!
