Trading partner's document (850) was rejected

One of our trading partners, Home Depot, had an 850 rejected due to missing data.  They're wondering if the actual PO number can be included in that rejection notice?

Working on our error and rejection notices is an improvement we are currently working on.  We completely agree that the automated messages can be improved and contain more information.

Our current plan to add more specific document identifiers, such as the PO number, as well as better clarification on the error message.

Unfortunately, there is no specific timeline on when these changes will occur.  We are working to have them implemented by the end of 2016, but we hope to have them up and running sooner.

Thank you for the suggestion.  It is continued feedback that helps us both improve our systems and create timelines for improvements that better reflect our customer's needs.
