I am trying to enter multi lined ASN's today through auto complete.  I use this feature often when qty's are identical - like today.  I keep getting this error this morning.  Can you tell me what's going on? Entering these by hand is cray cray.

Good morning Marcia,

Thank you for posting, apologies for the issue you were/are experiencing!  I understand the importance of auto-complete and will work closely with you until it is resolved.  In checking with our Support Team, I am not aware of any "persistent" issues with auto-complete today.  Are you able to confirm whether it is still happening?  Just about an hour ago I see our Development Team made a change to the network to improve performance.  I am wondering if there was an isolated issue in which you experienced.

If this is still occurring, please advise of the PO number(s) you are auto-completing and I can dive deeper.

Thank you Marcia, happy Friday.

My apologies Jordan, I didn't see your response.  Usually it comes in the form of an email, which I didn't get.  I did all the ASN's by hand because they were due today (labels etc). I just went in and tried to do a mock one and got the same error.  Kinda frustrating.  Not sure why it happens. But thanks for looking into it.  Have a great weekend!

No problem at all, I apologize this is still happening!  Do you have an example PO number (from the mock one) that I could try and replicate on my end?  I would love to get this resolved asap to ensure we are not in the same boat on Monday as I know how time-consuming it is to do each individually.

Thank you for your patience, have a great weekend yourself!

Good morning Marcia,

I have both good and bad news for you this morning.  The good news is I was able to diagnose the issue (sorry for the delay).  The issue lies within Purchase Orders containing 2000+ of an individual SKU being ordered.  As you likely noticed while filling the ASN out manually, the system does not allow more than 2000 items in on pack repetition.  As a result, it needs to be spill over into a new pack repetition.  As auto-complete simply puts all items of a particular SKU into one pack repetition, it is throwing an error when attempting to save.

Clearly this is a system limitation on the part of WebForms.  I spoke with our Product team today and have been told that it is in the works to increase this limit in an upcoming build.  Unfortunately we are entering a "code-freeze" to ensure system stability over the busy days ahead, so it may be some time, but it is a limitation that they are aware of and will be devoting resources towards resolving soon.

I truly apologize for this inconvenience, but applaud the items being ordered!  I suppose it is a double-edge sword right now.  Please let me know if there is anything further I can do in the meantime.

Have a great week,

Jordan

Ahhhh I see!!!  Well, at least there is a known reason now!  I do appreciate your finding this information out.  I know when I'm making labels I have to do groups of 600 at a time due to size restrictions.  If I didn't break them up, the system would time out and not print all labels.
Well, that's great, thanks again Jordan, you're the best!
