Hi, We received a huge order from TSA and we have to complete two routings for it, which (we believe) means two ASN's.  It's still one order though.  How do we create two ASN’s for one Purchase Order?  In our experience, Receiving at TSA will have a difficult time as the order will not match either ASN?  Ultimately, this will result in multiple chargebacks which we obviously want to avoid.  It's PO 397970 that is 38 pallets

Hello,

Thank you for posting in the Support Center!

You are correct: each shipment should have it's own ASN as it will have different shipping information that will need to be communicated.

To do this, you will create both ASNs off the PO and but be very careful to only put the items on the ASN that are being shipped in that specific shipment.  The ASNs should source in the data from the PO, so they should have no issues with that.

However, if they may, I would reach out to them and ask what they would prefer.  Do they want two ASNs?  Do they want one that will be a bit incorrect as the shipping information will be different?  Industry best practices is to send two, however, it may be a good idea to double check with them.

If you run into any issues creating the two ASNs, I would call the Support Team and we can take a look at it with you as well.

Thank you,
