Cannot print labels on a Zebra Z4M. I have tried clearing the java cache and the browser cache. Still nothing. The label displays correctly on screen. I have also checked the fonts loaded with the Z4M and Code 128 is loaded

Hi Shillion,

Thanks for your post.  Are you printing these labels from WebForms and could you please provide me with the Purchase Order/Advance Ship Notice number you are working with?  I should be able to recommend some troubleshooting steps after I get this information.  Please let me know whenever you get a chance.  Thanks!

Hi Fred,

The PO number is 5480099 and ASN is H2OFGLC-050. I am tying to print from Webforms to a Zebra 4M Plus. I have checked the fonts and Code 128 is loaded.

Hi Shillion,

Do you know if the Zebra Z4M is currently set as your default printer?  Sometimes having a different printer as your default will cause issues with the margins in the print window.   I would definitely try to update that first if you have not already done so.  You can do this by going to Start > Devices and Printers > Right Click on the Zebra Z4M > Select 'Set as Default Printer'.  This will make sure your margins match up.

You can also check the margins when you go to print the labels.  After you click to 'Print' from the label window, there should be a tab in the print window that opens up that is labeled 'Page Setup'.  Go ahead and click on that.  The margins for your labels should show in the bottom right of that window.  You will want them to be as close to zero as possible.   I would try entering .01 if they are set to other numbers.  Try printing the labels again.  I hope that this does the trick!  Please let me know if you run into any problems.

Hi,

Setting the printer as the default printer fixed the issue. The labels printed correctly. To make sure I changed the default back to one of our lasers and the labels did not print.

The margins could not be changed for some reason, the smallest value was 0.12 allowed.

Thanks,

Shillion
