Hello,

my question is if i have sent an ASN for PO#139438005 about 1 month ago, can i use the same PO# to send a second ASN? Would this cause an error on the customers(receiver) side when sending the ASN?

Please advise

Thank you

Good morning Carlos,

Thank you for your post!  That is a great question - did you split up your shipment?  If so and you are shipping more product from the same PO now, you can absolutely send another ASN.  You never want to send a second ASN for the items included on the first ASN as this is where issues may arise.

Hope that helps, let me know if you have any further questions!

If I have 1 PO that per routing has been split, how would I submit the ASN:DSDC to reflect the 2 separate loads? Would I submit it once for the 1st load being picked up, then submit it again for the 2nd load?

Thanks

Nick

Hello!

Yes, you would want to submit an ASN for each shipment they are receiving.  So with a split PO, you would want to submit two ASNs.

Thanks!

Katrina
