Is it possible to print directly to a thermal label printer? I have a Datamax I-Class printer with the correct windows drivers installed - however - when I print to the printer, I only get the text. The graphics and barcodes are missing.

Hi Patrick,

Thanks for your post!  Yes, it is possible to print a label to a thermal printer.  When you go to print the label in WebForms, please be sure to select the '4" x 6"' option in the print window and this should make sure that the labels print in the correct dimensions on your thermal label stock.  You can update Preferences to automatically format to 4 x 6 as well.  Another step that I would take is to set your thermal printer as your default printer.  To do this:

- Click on the Start menu
- Click on Control Panel
- Click on Devices and Printers
- Right click on your thermal printer then select 'Set as default printer'

If you are still experiencing issues, I recommend clearing temporary internet files in your browser and also clearing your Java cache, then restarting your browser.  I also found this article that sounds somewhat similar to the issue you are having.  Please let me know if you have any further questions.  Thank you!

No unfortunately I had already tried all that. I will keep testing and see if I get anywhere.

Hi Patrick,

You might be able to follow up with the printer manufacturer to see if they have any possible troubleshooting steps as well.  I would imagine that they have run into this in the past and have suggestions to get those graphics to print.
