PO Acknowledgement and "No Action" help

How do I know if PO acknowledgement was sent and why do I keep getting "No action" when trying to complete any action with the PO? Thanks

Good Afternoon Ms. Flores,

Thank you for posting to the Support Center!

To answer your first question: in order to know if a PO acknowledgement was sent you can follow these steps.
  1. Find the Purchase Order you are working with
  2. Click on the Blue 'related documents' icon next to the orange 'next steps' arrow
  3. You will then be able to view which documents have been sent off of that purchase order
  4. If there is a Blue Envelope next to the document sent off of the order - that means that it is still on its way to your trading partner
  5. If there is a Blue piece of paper next to the document - that means that it has been successfully transmitted to them
  6. If there is a Red question mark next to it - that means that it has erred
  7. Lastly, if there is a Blue Folder next to it - that means that it is in your drafts folder
For your second question:

What action are you trying to complete off of the Purchase Order? If you are trying to create a new document off of it (Purchase Order Acknowledgment, Advanced Ship Notice, Invoice, etc.) could you please try to click on the orange 'next steps' arrow next to that specific order and choose the document from there? Please let me know if this works or if this doesn't pertain to what you are trying to do then please let me know which action you are trying to create and I can further assist.

Thank you Mark for your reply. When I click on related documents, nothing comes up.  But there is a blue piece of paper next to the PO's. So that helped, thank you. 
As for the action, when I acknowledged the PO's, it stated "no action" and I thought it was suppose to state "successful." I just wanted to ensure I did it correctly (my first time). Thanks

Hello Ms. Flores,

When you say that you acknowledged the PO's and it stated "no action" - what are the exact steps that you went through? If you were trying to acknowledge the PO's by putting a check in the status box > Choosing Select an Action > then selecting Mark Read, then most likely it is showing "no action" because it has already been acknowledged. If the document isn't in bold then that means that it has been acknowledged already, if it is in bold font then it still needs to be acknowledged.
