RECEIVED: ACTION REQUIRED: this PO is open in Target system, send 856 for shipped or 855 for cancelled. Whats next, what action to take, even when product was sent by UPS

Thank you for posting in the Support Center!

In general, many trading partners require that you send an 855--a Purchase Order Acknowledgement--letting them know that you've received their order and either reject or intend to fill it, and then most retailers require that you send an 856--an Advanced Shipping Notice. The Advanced Shipping Notice lets the retailer know that you've sent their items, and when they can expect the shipment.
