Why is my ASN option unavailable from Next Steps?

I am trying to do an ASN for Unipharm PO 8153906, but there is not an option to be able to do this. This has happened the last couple times and I am wondering if I no longer have to do this for this customer, or if there is something I am missing.

Hi Tracy, I took a look at your account's permission settings and it appears as though the document permissions for UniPHARM are set to "None". In order to adjust these settings take the following steps:


  1. From within WebForms, click on the SPS Commerce icon in the upper left-hand corner of the page to navigate back to the Portal page.


  2. Click on "Company User Admin" within the left-hand navigation pane.


  3. Click on the "Edit" icon.


  4. Select "ALL" from the Choose a Trading Partner list.


  5. Choose "All Permissions Read/Write" from the "-Select a permissions action-" list at the lower right-hand section of the page.


  6. Click "Save".



After performing these actions you may navigate back to WebForms where you will find the documents available from the Next Steps action off of your UniPHARM Purchase Orders. Let us know if you have any other questions or issues as we're more than happy to help!

Please note that typically you are able to make document permissions updates by trading partner rather than all at once, however there is a know issue in how this function is performing that our Technology team is working to address.

Unable to submit an invoice as there is not an option to do so.

Our packing slips for trading partner Home Depot are not available anymore. How do we find and print these?

I just tried the suggestion above. Now all options are available but the packing slip is still not displaying with the Home Depot logo. The only document that is printing is the pick slip.

Hi Maya. I am afraid that I do not have enough information about the issue you are experiencing with your packing slip. I am not able to replicate the issue on my end, so I will follow up with you via email in case# 00893544.

The option to invoice is missing when I highlight a line and choose "Next Steps". The link of "invoicing" is missing. Am I missing something?

Why is the advance ship notice option not available?.


When clicking on the next step option I usually will have a link to advance ship notice to complete the form. For a current order that I have I'm not seeing this option. the only steps available are "Auto-Complete" and "Related Documents".

I'm not sure what the "Advance Ship Notice" link is not present. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My invoice function is not available..


Created an invoice on 7.24.13 & saved it in drafts until I obtained an invoice # then on 7.25.13 I attempted to edit the invoice in drafts but system wouldn't allow me. I attempted to invoice a different PO# (both for CABELAS) and the invoicing option was not available. I attempted to do both functions again today and still no access to invoicing function. Good morning Lupe! I believe the steps outlined in this post should resolve the issue you are experiencing with your Invoices in WebForms.

Should you need to recreate the Invoice from your Cabela's PO, please let me know. Due to the nature of Cabela's documents, I would need to reset the PO for you in order to re-invoice.

Hello. I've been trying to update one of our trading partners with an ASN and Invoice info, but Autocomplete is the only option available for that trading partner (Grainger Sourcing) under Next Steps, and it fails on every attempt, specifying only that "No Documents could Be Auto-Completed". Our other trading partner (Grainger) isn't set-up to Autocomplete any of the WebForms, and ASN and Invoices are entered manually. Can the same process be specified for Grainger Sourcing? How do I accomplish that?

I have several open PO's for Dicks that are not giving me the "next step" option to create an ASN: Pick and Pack (New) - why is this? I need to ship these orders ASAP so please help!

Cannot invoice.


I am trying to invoice from a p.o., but when I hit next step the invoice options is not available to choose. I was able to do this last week. I've already cleared my temp files etc as I saw you suggested to someone else.

Thanks for you post! You should be able to access that invoice by updating your Permissions. Please follow the steps at the top of the page and that option should be available. Please let me know if you run into any problems. Thanks!

Hi, I'm trying to invoice from a PO#391899 but the warehouse invoice options is not available when I hit next step. I've followed the steps at the top of the page and that account does have Read/Write permission for Warehouse invoice. Could you please help?
