No Alert on failed EDI messages! How to accomplish?

We've been missing documents that have FAILED to process.
There is no Alert tag, or failure notice for staff  to identify issues with.
We can only tell there is an issue by opening up each (text) document to look at the message inside.
Example is, we Have Walmart messages coming to the SPS commerce portal that list as “Text” document type.
 Inside the Text message is a notice “THESE DOCUMENTS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED. SEGMENT ELEMENT ERROR.
How can I set an ALERT on these?
What does it take for something to show in the empty “Alert” column, or in the dashboard, or sent as email?
 Sheer volume precludes looking at all EDI messages. :)
Example  for staff: ffulfillment transaction 885064222 Cyanotech / Walmart

is there a way to tag messages that contain the word "ERROR" with an Alert?

This is what I would recommend:

Perform the search as shown below, and Save the Search:

So that it can be used in the future.

Also, if you are sure to set up email addresses in the "Preferences" > "Email Notifications" field, an email notification of these documents will be sent as well.
