MSC PO #9292847001 needs to be cancelled.  We are not shipping items.  Please advise if there is something I have to transmit on EDI to cancel this PO.

Hello Vicki.

Thank you for using our Support Center!  For MSC orders, all you need to do is create a PO Acknowledgement form by clicking on the Next Steps orange arrow button off of the PO. On this form, you want to specify that the acknowledgement type is "Detail and Change." You can then add the items from the order and mark each of them as "Rejected." Once you send that, this will let MSC know that you will not be shipping any items on this order.

Let me know if you have any questions.  Have a great day, Vicki!

There is only 1 item on the PO and I want it cancelled.  When I select "rejected" it is still asking me to complete a Ship on Date.  Nothing is being shipped.  Please advise.  It is PO #9292847001-MSC  Thank you,.

Hello Vicki.  I saw that MSC Industrial does require a ship date listed for all Acknowledgements and there is no way around that requirement.  I called the Order contact listed on this PO, and she was able to confirm that the order was cancelled in MSC's system.  It looks like all you need to do to cancel the order is send them an email.

For the order in your inbox, you can just leave it there or you could archive it so it is not sitting next to the active orders.  There is no further required action you have to take on that PO in WebForms.
