Why are my Universal Catalog v7 Items are in pending status after my spreadsheet upload?

A number of things can cause items to be stuck in a pending status after a spreadsheet upload. First, ensure that the item hierarchy is properly created, by assuring that the item is associated with a Product Code, that the Product Code is associated with a Selection Code, and that the Selection Code is associated with a Catalog. If a Selection Code is not deemed active, it can delay the spreadsheet upload, and it will remain in this pending status. To see all available selection codes, click on catalogs and then the applicable catalog. This will highlight all available selection codes. If you are missing a desired selection code, hit the plus sign, and add as needed.
