Good Afternoon,

We received an email from Ace Hardware this morning stating that we are failing to submit a 997 form to them. There has never been a form set up in our web fulfillment forms for them with that. How do we go about adding this form to the list of forms available on their orders?

Thank you for posting to the Support Center, and good question! A 997 is a Functional Acknowledgement that gets sent to your trading partner. This is not actually something that you create/send though. As soon as your trading partner sends a Purchase Order for example, and it enters SPS Commerce, this 997 is sent back to your trading partner as a proof of receipt. They send one back to us when a document you send reaches their system as well.

In regards to Ace Hardware not receiving these 997's, I will dig into this issue for you and create a case so that we can keep in communication. Expect an email from me shortly.
