Grainger Carrier Number in the TD503?

Is Grainger Carrier Number (Ex. 29811) suppose to be send int the 856 TD503 and not a SCAC code (Ex. UPSN) for Trading Partner W W Grainger?

I have found the answer in a example doc on this website. Grainger Carrier Number needs to be sent and not a standard SCAC code.

Hi Lou,

Great question! Unfortunately, production EDI data for Grainger does not flow through SPS Commerce so I wouldn't be able to see your data or tell you exactly what to place in the TD503.

Should you have any questions regarding EDI transactions to Grainger, I would advise you to contact Grainger directly.
