Is there a mechanism for PO change notifications? For example, if a trading partner (Amazon) makes a change to a PO after it's been submitted, does SPS pick up the change and generate an email or message to notify us of the change?

Hello Adam,

Thank you for posting in the Support Center!

For your Integrated Solutions, any notifications of new documents would be handled within your ERP system. I'm showing that you use S.A.P., so I would recommend reaching out to S.A.P. Support to see how they handle any new document notifications.

If you are working in your Web Fulfillment product, any time you receive a new document in our system, you are notified via email. We do give PO numbers in these emails, but vendors will be responsible for managing their changes in the portal. To ensure you are receiving new document notifications, you can follow the steps below:

In Fulfillment (commerce.spscommerce.com, blue and white screen), you will need to navigate to your "Preferences" tab, and then the section on "Email Notifications." In this section, you can add emails (up to 160 characters) separated by commas only, no spaces. Please ensure you save your changes.

In WebForms (portal.hosted-commerce.com, black and blue screen), you will be able to access your settings when you first log in (before you click "WebForms Fulfillment) via the menu on the left-hand side of the screen. You'll want to select "Company User Admin," and then, to the far right of your username, select the pencil icon to edit. This will open up your permissions and preferences screen, and the email options are at the top of the screen. Again, please ensure changes are saved.

Thank you,

Hi Allie, I am receiving notifications for new PO's. The question is regarding PO change notification, specifically with Amazon's Vendor Central. I see the email option for this (and it is turned on), yet we've never been notified when changes are made to Amazon PO's. I asked them the same question, and they responded with something like "our system does not send change notifications". In your experience, does that sound correct to you? I imagine you have other customers using SPS for Amazon EDI, have you heard of this before?

Hello Adam,

As far as I can see, we are sending out notifications for every new document of any time that goes into a WebForms/Fulfillment account. If you are not seeing these emails, you may be experiencing a unique issue. I would recommend calling in to our support team at (888) 739-3232, Option 1, Option 2 to have our team track those emails for you to see where they are going to.

Thank you,

You are sending out notifications for new documents and we are receiving them. I'm asking about documents that were already sent and then changed/revised again. Are there notifications for that? Is that an EDI 860? Has this worked with Amazon's Vendor Central?

Hello Adam,

We do not have any insight into how Amazon's Vendor Central works at all. And yes, our new document notifications are running for any document that your trading partner sends to you, including the 860 Purchase Order Change. To have an analyst track down the emails we are sending to you, please feel free to contact our support team at (888) 739-3232, Option 1, Option 2.

Thank you,
