I've been having issues with invoices being unsuccessfully processed. The main problem is:
"Missing element: expect UnitPrice before ending InvoiceLine in line.....". (this invoice is line 34020, column 21)

My question is: how do I fix this and resend it? The particular invoice I'm looking at right now is hundreds of pages and I cannot go through and submit to amazon via their vendor portal. I would like to know what steps I need to do to fix it so in the future I don't need to contact you every time it happens.

Here are the invoice details:
Serial Number: PCL3300411522

Document Originator: Anchor Distributing Document Recipient: Amazon Warehouse Document Type: 810

Source Filename: /u01/ftp/vendor/anchordist/in/IN011309524125.txt

ShipToLocationNumber: 8021708

InvoiceDate: 2015-10-28

PurchaseOrderNumber: 1MQKRSCJ

InvoiceTotal: 41360.11

ShipToLocation: AMAZON.COM

InvoiceNumber: 665750-002

InvoiceNumber:665750-002  Missing element: expect UnitPrice before ending InvoiceLine in line 34020,column 21

The item is SCWC21213FVEG (UPC 714732721613). The price should be $86.60

If you need further information let me know, otherwise let me know when you figure something out. Thanks so much

Hi Amber,

Thank you for reaching out to SPS! I took a look at this document and it appears this unit price value is sent from your system and is missing in the instance of item SCWC21213FVEG. We are unable to update this field as it appears it is a value coming directly from your system. Once you add UnitPrice on your end and push the document through it will process successfully - so long as we do not see any new and unrelated errors.

If you are unable to correct on your end through your integrated connection and since this invoice appears to be part of a larger batch file, there is always the option of utilizing our WebForms tool to submit as well.

Thanks and have a great night,

Hi Jessica. Just wanted to check in on this again. It's kind of a time sensitive invoice so if you could get back to me asap, I'd really appreciate it.
Thank you!

Good morning Amber,

If you have access to your WebForms Username and Password then you will want to go to spscommerce.net and enter that information there. Next, you will want to click on the WebForms Fulfillment tab at the top of the screen. From there, please follow the steps below to invoice that order:
  1. Click the search bar in the upper right hand corner of the screen
  2. Insert the Purchase Order number into the 'ID' field and change the date range to include when that Purchase Order was sent over
  3. Click Search
  4. When you find the Purchase Order that you are looking for, put a check mark in the 'Status' column on the left hand side and go down to 'Select an Action'
  5. From that drop down menu you will want to choose 'Mark as Read'
  6. After that, go back to the Purchase Order and click on the orange 'Next Steps' arrow to the right of that Order
  7. Then, Choose invoice from the list of options
  8. Fill in all of the blue 'mandatory' fields on that invoice and add your items
  9. Click the 'Check' button at the bottom of the screen
  10. Then send the document
I will include a link to a video below of walking you through the invoicing process.

I hope this helps and please let me know if you have any other questions.

Hello. I've been working on getting this fixed and i cannot do it. I have updated my java, my firefox, I have tried other web browers and this invoice just will not download. I'm not sure what else to do. Is there any way you can go in and fix it for me?

Hello Amber-

I cannot go in and fix the invoice for you but I can give you some tips on how to get forms to load in your WebForms account. Please follow the steps below in Firefox to try and get the document to load.
  1. Find the Purchase Order you would like to send the invoice off of
  2. Click on the Orange next steps arrow next to the order and choose invoice
  3. After that, you should see "Please wait, your form is loading..."
  4. In the upper left hand corner of your screen you may see a red "lego" looking piece - if so, please click on that and change both of those to 'Allow and Remember'
  5. Once you do that then you will need to re-load the forms following steps 1 & 2
If this still does not work then I would advise calling into our number (below) and choosing Option 1, Option 1 for our WebForms support where one of our analysts would be more than happy to assist.

Hi Max,
I'm still having issues with this. I've attached a couple screenshots of what is happening. Could you please look at them and let me know what is going on. The first one is of the "update java" and the second one is what happens after java has been updated

Hello Amber-

This error message usually means that there are multiple versions of java on your computer and one of them is possibly corrupt. Thus, causing the plugin to crash. In order to fix this you can try to follow the steps below.
  1. Uninstall Java - Click on the home icon for your desktop, then click on the Control Panel, then choose Uninstall a program under Programs. If you can't find this type in uninstall in the search bar
  2. Next, find java and uninstall that.
  3. Once that is done, go back to the home icon and then choose 'Computer' this time
  4. Then, click on the C: Drive
  5. Then click on Program Files (x86)
  6. Next, find the Java folder and when in there delete all of the versions
  7. After that is done you will want to go back into your browser and re-install java and then enable all plugins for java.
If this still does not work I would advise to call in as one of our dedicated analysts will be able to better assist you over the phone or over a desktop share.
