I would like the ability to default date fields to "today's date", so I no longer have to manually set a date.

I think this is a great idea! Anything to save a click or two.

I would like to take the idea a step further by adding a + / - (number of days) to a default pre-populated field.

For example, I always ship the day BEFORE I fill out the invoices and ASN's. For me it would be neat to default to "today's date minus 1" and pre-populate all date fields with that date.

We need to enter an Expiration Date, that can be several years out.
Default values of:
"TODAY" + 365, 720, or 1095...
"TODAY" + 9999
would work, with the last one being my preference.

Thanks everyone for the feedback on this. We have entered this idea into our development plan. We're targeting a feature that allows defaulting today's date or a date as a function of today's date (today + 7 days, for example.) Stay tuned to this thread for updates.

Regards,
Colin
