how do I create an ASN label a day prior to shipping the product?

Hi Sherry,

Thanks for your post.  This is a fantastic question!

If you are using our WebForms product, you can create your Advance Ship Notice (ASN/856) and rather than send it right away, just save the document.  This will save it to your drafts folder and you can view shipping labels from here and print them if needed.  Then once the shipment gets picked up, you can come back to the ASN, add tracking number information (if needed) and send the document.

**NOTE: It is important that you do not change anything on the order tab specifically as it could affect the label count and essentially update the carton ID number.  But if you only need to come in and add a Bill of Lading or something that is not on the label you certain can.  Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
