For the currency of the invoice, it should be US dollars instead of Canadian Dollars. I know that I cannot make any changes to invoice after I sent over the customer. Fortunately the customer said they never received the invoice that we first sent in Canadian currency. However, I'm not sure how I can make the correction to the US dollars on an submitted invoice.

Now my question is how should I recreate an invoice from a purchase order once the PO had been fulfilled, and invoice had been created and submitted??

Hi Kwok,

Thank you for posting and explaining the situation!  You are absolutely correct, information can not be adjusted on sent documents.  To recreate, simply select the Invoice from the PO.  If it is crossed out, please provide me with the PO number.  I will be able to get the option open again and provide you an explanation as to why it was crossed off.

Thank you,

Jordan

hello Jordan,

Thanks for your reply! Yes the "invoice" option is crossed out, please open the option again for us. Here is the PO# 03353148. It would be nice to learn about reason behind it as well.

Please let us know if you need addition information from us.

Thank you very much!

Got it, thank you for that information.  I have opened the Invoice and got your items back.

The reasoning behind the option being crossed off is that, specific to this case, Canadian Tire is looking for one Invoice per ASN.  In that sense, once an Invoice has been created, the system makes the option unavailable.

Another reason this can happen is if the "Done" checkbox in the lower-left is checked.  This will indicate that you are done with the form and will not be using it again.  I do not recommend checking this.

In any event, Canadian Tire is an item tracking retailer.  What that means is that when an item is used, it will be subtracted from future iterations.  To resolve this, you will need to let us know and we can reset the form.

You should be all set here, please let me know if you run into any issues!

Thanks and have a great weekend,

Jordan
