How to delete/ correct an incorrect PO acknowledgement after it has been sent?

While acknowledging 3 Amazon orders from 9/9/18, SPS had delayed run time at our facility and 3 POs were acknowledged incorrectly. I have sent corrected POs acknowledgements but wanted to delete the initial ones so there is not confusion. The order numbers and issues are...
PO# 4TZRNISV-  Initial acknowledgment was Mutually Defined needs to be deleted.
PO# 4N2XTY4Q-  Initial acknowledgment was Mutually Defined needs to be deleted.
PO# 48VFAN6G- Incorrect ship date was entered needs to be deleted. Correct ship date should be 11/28/18.

Once a document is sent, it cannot be retrieved. The best thing you can do is contact your trading partner to let them know that the initial document(s) was/were sent in error.

As long as the above is done in timely fashion, they should be understanding to the mistake that was made.
