A noticeable change in the SPS for GP 2013 release is a change to the user interface (UI) associated with process logic.  The modified windows that existed prior to the 2013 release are now returned back to the base GP windows and you will no longer see miscellaneous Process Logic fields and buttons on various forms.

The SPS for GP EDI information is now contained in their own windows with information displayed that relates back to the window that the SPS for GP window is associated with.  So on the SPS for GP EDI information window pertaining to the customer card, you will see the customer ID (GP Customer ID) on the window as display only and all of the related SPS for GP fields will exist on this window.

Getting to these windows is going to be the big change for customers to get used to as there is no longer a 'button' on the window such as on the Customer Maintenance window.  Instead the user will see an 'Additional' option at the top of the window.  Selecting 'Additional' will produce a drop down list of the extra windows and information associated with the form.  One of those options will be 'EDI Information'.  This selection will open up the SPS for GP specific information.

So if you load up SPS for GP 2013 and find yourself asking "Where is the EDI information?", scan to the top of the page and look for 'Additional' and you will answer your own question.

An important note on the UI changes is what happens when a window does not open?  I upgrade to GP 2013, pick 'Customer Maintenance' and nothing happens.  No window opens, no error comes up, just nothing happens.  This is due to the fact that in the past the 'Alternate Modified' window setup was set to use the SPS for GP window.  So for customer maintenance you would see options for 'GP' and 'SPS for GP' and the SPS for GP window had the radio button next to it set (filled in).  In GP 2013 there is no modified window/form anymore so if your specific window does not open (like customer maintenance, company setup, Item Maintenance, Vendor Maintenance), it is because the 'Alternate Modified' setting needs to be set back to GP.
