Gold Standard Validation Errors - How To Resolve!

If you’ve received an error similar to the below, here are some helpful things to look for to resolve:


ShipmentIdentification:XXXXXXXXXX



Gold Standard Validation failed {Error=Value sent doesn;t match what
was expected,Field=AddressLocationNumber,ValueSent=XXXX,ValidExpectedValues=XXXX}


Generally, these errors are triggered when a certain element was not returned exactly as it was on the parent document. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Address location
  • UPC/SKU/VN
  • Vendor Numbers
  • Alpha character case
  • Additional items not on parent document

In order to correct these, please review the data from the parent document with the data from the erred document. If you are unable to locate any discrepancies, please contact our Retail Services team to determine the best course of action.
