FPL orders came thru FI but are not in Webforms

This happened about a month ago and has happened again.  Two FPL POs are in FI but are NOT in Webforms.  They must be in Webforms.  Please advise if I should have them resubmit.

Hi Margaret,

Sorry for the delay in responding to you.  I've been looking into your issue here a bit this afternoon and am having a bit of trouble on my end finding the erred data.  I can see the documents enter the system in 1 batch file which explains why both didn't process to Web, but cannot find the error ticket on our end as to the reason behind it not sending.

I want to resend these to either see if they process through successfully or get a better time stamp as to when they are failing to so I can find the error.  I will be resending this to your WebForms and following up with you as soon as they process.

Hi Margaret.  Those should be pushed through now.  Still trying to track out what is causing them to error in the first place.  We are not seeing any issues which would be causing it and not correcting anything with the documents other than resending them.  I will make sure that we keep trying to figure out what is causing this so you are not having to do this each week.

Hi Margaret.  Quick update for you.  I do see this one in the system and it is looking to be a similar issue.  This appears to only be happening to your dropship orders.  I am going to refer this up to our development team for a root cause request so we can figure out what is causing this and start to get it fixed.  In the meantime, are you able to continue to send me the orders that you receive in your FI system but not in WebForms? I should be able to get those resent rather quickly so you aren't missing orders.

Hi Paul.  Another PO came thru FI but is not in Webforms.  FPL PO 519741, PO068649.91E, came in last night.  Any progress on this issue?

Hold the phone.  I contacted FPL about these and was told...

Please cancel these 2 PO’s. For some reason the PO’s pulled your D/S vendor code (NET121) not your Fidelitone stock vendor code (H02003). I will send a new PO for 2) 004302-CA using the correct vendor code. Let me know if there is an issue.

So I'm thinking maybe this isn't an issue that SPS needs to fix???  Thoughts?

That is definitely interesting.  I'm not sure if that fully puts the issue on their end.  Based on their specs, I am not sure if it should matter what is being sent in that field as long as it meets the length requirements. Let's keep an eye out on the next orders to verify.  I am going to keep my request open to make sure we aren't missing something here.  Since they are canceling and and reissuing those orders, I will hold off on reprocessing, but let me know right away if you can if you are missing the new ones.

I haven't heard from you in a while and just wanted to make sure that you are not missing any dropship orders since we last chatted.  My root cause request to fix the issue is still open and being worked on, but I wanted to make sure that we still manually pushed those through for you.  Please let me know if you have anything that needs to get pushed along.

I was able to get feed back on the root cause for this.  It looks like it was related to an internal build which has since been corrected.  You should not continue to see these issues (it appears they have ceased), however, if you do, please feel free to post here so I can look into them immediately.  Thanks!

Hello.  This is happening again on random orders, since September.  I wasn't even aware we were missing POs.  FPL has resubmitted the POs a second time, which are in FI but NOT in Webforms.  Can you check to see why they are not coming into Webforms?  I am going to use the orders that came thru FI, but we should still look into the issue.  There are other orders that are flowing correctly.  These 13 did not.  Thanks.

Do you happen to have an example PO number (I am assuming the above file names are not the PO numbers that appear in WebForms)? 

Is PO 584970 included?  If so, I have isolated the issue and can continue to dig.

Hi Margaret,

I worked with Paul to see if the issue was separate from what he originally posted (the N104), and the issue here is the same.  The N104 segment must be at least 2 digits long, however, these Purchase Orders contain "7"  Below is a screenshot of one PO:



I  can follow up with you via email if you would like more raw data, but according to the specifications we have, a single digit here is not allowed.
