For Staples - how to reject cancelled order, cancel backorders, show price corrections

Hi Janell!

Thanks for your post -- great to see you on the Support Center. If I am understanding correctly (and please correct me if I am wrong), it sounds like you need to:

1. Cancel Purchase Order 3360220
2. Cancel back ordered items for Purchase Order 27806000
3. Correct pricing information on Purchase Order 3360599

For each instance, you should use your Purchase Order Acknowledgement to communicate item, price, or date changes for items on a Purchase Order.

1. Cancelled orders may be conveyed with Item Back-ordered status (and Item Quantity 0) on the Detail tab of the Purchase Order Acknowledgement. It would also be a good idea to leave a detailed Vendor Note under the Messages section of the Header tab alerting Staples of the cancellation.
2. Same information as #1. Use your Purchase Order Acknowledgement to list an item as Back-ordered, and be sure to post the Item Quantity as 0. Another detailed Vendor Note under the Messages section of the Header tab will alert Staples of the update.
3. Pricing information may be conveyed with Item Status of "Item Accepted-Price Change" on the Detail tab.
