Error message "replacement effective date" needed for Target inventory advice submission - Don't know what this is.

I am trying to submit inventory advice for Target. I am receiving an error message that I need to add the "replacement effective date" even though it was not a required field. Can someone tell me what this field represents? there a place for me to look of field definitions so that I can tackle this small roadblocks on my own?

There are times where fields become mandatory when others are added in, and they are known as conditionally mandatory fields. They will trigger the system to not allow you to send the document without filing them in, but will not be shown as mandatory as they are only mandatory if other fields are filled in.

This is most likely a conditionally mandatory field. It sounds like Target is asking when the replacement product effective date will be so they can plan their inventory accordingly.
