EDI Document Rejection e-mails should included the Errored Segment that is causing the problem

We occasionally send malformed EDI documents. As much as we don’t mean to do that, we still do it anyway. SPS is kind enough to e-mail us a document that details what’s wrong.

We feel these could be more helpful. We get segment counts and character positions, but it’d be much more helpful to also get a copy of the segment that is causing the error, maybe even include a segment or two before and after the offending segment.

Hi Eli - thanks for sharing this idea!  I can definitely see how this would be beneficial not only for our customers but also internally for troubleshooting customer errors.  I will escalate a ticket to see if this is something that could be implemented in the future.
