EDI Compliance is best narrowed down to:

  • Are all of these VALID EDI characters?
  • Does my content align with my trading partners
    specifications?
  • Was there something else that caused this document to not be transmitted electronically?

With issues of EDI compliance I should contact SPS if:

  • I use an SPS Product (Assortment - Catalog, WebForms Fulfillment, Integrated Fulfillment)
  • The error notification came FROM an e-mail address ending in: @spscommerce.com
  • I need assistance reading the specifications or an updated copy

With issues of EDI compliance I should contact my 3rd party provider if:

  • The error message did NOT come from an e-mail address associated with: @spscommerce.com
  • I need to assistance in how to correct and resend the document in question



Vendor Compliance is best narrowed down to:

  • Do I have the correct vendor number?
  • Did I follow best Business Practices as deemed fit by my trading partner?

With issues of Vendor Compliance I should contact SPS if:

  • I need assistance reading the specifications or an updated copy
  • I am unable to access the SPS Vendor Portal to assist me

With issues of Vendor Compliance I should contact my Trading Partner if:

  • My trading partner received my document successfully but said it did not have the correct information
