We transmitted ASNs for Nexcom early this week but the orders will not be picked up until next week, just want to ensure the ASNS will still be ok when they receive the goods.

Hello,

Thank you for posting in the Support Center!

They should be fine as long as the ship dates and the other shipping information is all correct. The function of the ASN is to communicate all the shipping information to the trading partner so they can prepare their side of the the shipping process.

You can send them whenever that information is collected, they will never expire or anything of that nature.  The reason they are usually sent closer to the ship dates is to ensure that the information does not change between ASN transmission and the actual shipping date.  If that information changes you will need to recreate and resend the ASN with the correct information.  This also means you will need to reprint any barcode labels needed from the new, correct, ASN to ensure they are connected to the correct ASN.

Thank you,
