duns change

My DUNS # has zeros in the front and back of it, but suddenly the system removed those zeros and the invoices not accepted by Safeway.  I nee to update the DUNS #, but cannot figure out how to do it in the system.

Hey Joe!

Thank you for posting to the Support Center!

It looks like this issue may be resolved using our defaults feature. In order to change that you will want to take following steps:
  1. Go to your WebForms inbox
  2. On the left hand side click on 'New Document'
  3. From there, find your trading partner (Safeway) and then click on the 'defaults' icon next to the document name (invoice)
  4. Then a defaults page will open up and you will see all of the places where you can input defaults into your form.
  5. You will then want to click on the correct field where your DUNS number is supposed to be and change the number that is in there to the correct number you want
  6. Then you will want to make sure the 'activate defaults' box is checked at the bottom of the screen
  7. Click Save and then close

If this does not resolve the issue then this could potentially be an issue with Safeway not sending over the correct information to you in the Grocery Order. It looks like they send over a couple different numbers that may be your DUNS number that are automatically populating on the invoice form. If the defaults issue doesn't resolve this and the numbers that they are sending over are correct then please feel free to post back and we can set up a call or you can always call in at the number below and one of our analysts would be more than willing to assist.
