Business Challenge:
How are my stores performing across each Retailer?  What are my Top/Bottom doors within a Retailer?

Analysis:
The Door Performance report indicates information about your stores to help drive decisions regarding stocking, product placement, etc.  This information can help identify areas of opportunity at the door level.

Let's now look at a commonly used scenario to monitor Door Performance.

Report Details:

  • Attribute: Retailer, Store Name, Store Number
  • Metrics: SLS UNITS, RTL SLS, Percent to Total Sales, Rank OH UNITS
Optional:
  • Attributes: Style, Size, UPC and other relevant Item or location attributes
  • Metrics: ST%, WOS, UNITS 4WK SLS (TY/LY/Variance)
         
In the report above, we are able to quickly look at percent to total distribution of sales and inventory across all stores within a retailer. 

Using the View Filter feature and ranking metrics, we can focus on the top or bottom 10 performing stores.  Scheduling this report weekly can aid in monitoring the health of a store and in reacting faster to business needs.
