Does all Grainger have to have unique upc? Or is it only just to the Grainger Locations that have to be re-labeled?

Hi Misty,

Thanks for your post! I would like to get a bit more information from you so that I can give you the most accurate response.

What is your connection method with Grainger; do you use Webforms, an integrated system, or do you send raw EDI data?

Can you provide a PO number that you are working with?

Once I get a better idea of what you are working with I will be able to give you a better answer.

Thanks!

Allison

I am a processor and we have Grainger labels that have specific Grainger barcaodes on them, that go over our barcode. I was told that we are only to put the labels on Grainger to store but also told I was to put it on all Grainger products, whether to store or customer. I am so confused?!?

Hello Misty,

Thanks for your reply. When you refer to "Grainger Labels" do you mean Shipping Labels? If not, please indicate the type of labels you are referring to, and how they are generated.

Thanks!

They are the UPC labels that go on the boxes, they have the Grainger UPC numbers on them instead of ours. Im not really sure how they are generated tho!

Thanks!

Hi Misty,

Thanks for the response. I am familiar with UCC-128 labels and UPS labels, however I am not familiar with the UPC labels. My recommendation would be to contact Grainger to get clarification on when those labels need to be used.

I hope that helps!

Allison
