Customer Rejected ASNs. Wants edited and retransmitted.

Stein Mart rejected my ASNs because the Vendor Name was left blank (when it is on my copy) and it requires an entity (can't find that info anywhere.) They want me to edit the ASNs and retransmit using the same numbers.  How can I do this without having to enter them all over again?  I have already had to manually enter the label numbers in the first time.  Why were these errors not caught when I clicked the "check" button?  I am working with 280 orders that the label numbers have to be manually entered.

That is a difficult position to be in. I looked into it and I'm guessing you switched over to using the ASN (new) option?  If the form allowed you to send without catching that mandatory field, you must have started using the new option because the standard form would not allow you to send without filling out all mandatory fields.

Unfortunately, the vendors that were supposed to use that form received direct communication and direction to switch over to that form. It was a very limited group because of a few known issues with the form.  It is going to be removed as an option until the form is able to be used by the community as a whole.

I'm so sorry you had forms created with the new options, but that was the incorrect form to use. Because it was the incorrect form, and it will be removed from production shortly, you will have to recreate and resend those ASNs using the standard ASN form.

I know it is not ideal, and it's a frustrating place to be, however, because they were created with forms that will be removed from the system, they will need to be recreated on the correct format.

An action step you can take to help with the recreation process is to set defaults for any fields that stay the same.  On this form I would recommend things like: packaging type, contact email, and all the ship from information. This would allow these fields to be filled out automatically whenever you create the form.
