Could you please help me check the draft ASN for Target to make sure the quantities are correct? PO 1742397 draft ID 227. A bit confused. Thanks!

We have 8 cartons:
Carton 1: 54 x 56745115
Carton 2: 54 x 56745115
Carton 3: 42 x 56745115
Carton 4: 54 x 56745207
Carton 5: 54 x 56745207
Carton 6: 42 x 56745207
Carton 7 (Mixed): 60 x 56745238 , 6 x 56745542
Carton 8: 48 x 56745542

Order Total:
150 x 56745115
150 x 56745207
60 x 56745238
54 x 56745542

I'd like to know if I am doing this correctly, I have changed the shipped qty to match it with the qty per carton. Please I'd like to know the correct packing process. Thank you!

Ken,

Your ASN is almost perfect. You have a discrepancy on the header and order tab. On the header you have the lading quantity as 1 wood pallet and on the order tab you have it as 8 paper cartons. Fix that and you will be good to send.

Also, to save yourself time, in the future when you have identical cartons, (in this case cartons 1 and 2) you can combine them. In the example of carton 1 and 2, you could have set the shipped quantity as 108 and left the quantity per carton as 54. This is just a little trick you could do to save time. The form will know it is two boxes and give you two labels. Two things about this though, it only works for cartons with one type of SKU in it, and the shipped quantity and quantity per carton have to be divisible into whole numbers, no partial boxes.

Thanks Ryan. We are shipping the 8 cartons in one pallet. Should I change the order tab lading qty to 1 wood pallet and leave all the details as is?

I would actually go based on number of boxes for the lading quantity as you are creating a label for each carton vs one label for the whole pallet. Your packaging of the items was perfect, so that does not need to be changed.
