SCAC codes are often-times required on the Advance Ship Notice as well as increasingly on the Invoice.  Below are the most common codes we see used.  Please feel free to post below with additional carriers companies may use and we would be more than happy to update our list.

FEDEX-Frieght = FXFE

UPS Canada = UPSC
All other UPS services = UPSN

It is important to note that these codes are not created by SPS Commerce and may be updated without our knowledge.  Please use this guide as a reference.

My company sources Caterpillar Mexico, Monterrey, N.L.
We have Customer Pickup, and Caterpillar sends its carriers for the parts.
Could you please include this type of carriers in your list or a classification of them, we can not prodceed with ASN with out this data.
Thank you

This is a great question.  Unfortunately, it does not look like Caterpillar addresses this in the specification they provide us with.  If you have a contact with Caterpillar, I would suggest contacting them!  The SCAC should not be important to them if they are picking the items up, but it is worth confirming.

Please let me know if you have any questions,

Good morning Donna,

Ironically enough, the SCAC code for USPS is simply USPS.

Hope this helps, have a great day!
