Cannot locate installation files. Are there instructions that include the needed files that I can use to locate the install file and guide me through the installation of Process Logic for Dynamics GP?

There is a Process Logic user manual which includes installation instructions for the product.  A few key things need to be known first.  What version of Dynamics GP are you running, and is this a new installation (at the company) or just installing Process Logic on an additional machine at the company currently using process logic?

The version is Dynamics GP 10 SP5.  Already have Process Logic, just installing it on a new machine.  The version information in the About Process Logic window is as follows:  Version 10 SP5  Build 296  -   Company Tables  0793  -  Sales Logic Version:  10.77, B2B Logic Version:  10.167, Process Logic Version:  10.7, Report Logic Version:  10.4.  How can I get the installation files & install instructions?  Thank you for your help!

Pam:  I am sorry this is late, I did not get a notification of the post.  The user documentation is lacking in the area of installation (and many others).  The key is that the new machine needs to run the same version of Process Logic as your other machines.  Process Logic is a custom dictionary which means that on the new machine, installed with Great Plains, what you need to do is copy down the cnk (chunk file) from your 'Transfer' FTP folder.  Then start Great Plains and say 'Yes' to accept new code.  This will install Process Logic on the new machine.

The second piece of the puzzle is an application called Cute FTP Pro.  This is the application that Process Logic currently uses to perform FTP transmissions.  Cute FTP Pro needs to be loaded on the new machine for Process Logic to work correctly.  This application is available through a company called GlobalScape (check machine to see if it is loaded already first).  They have a simple download/install on their web site.  The link to the Global Scape site for Cute FTP is: http://www.cuteftp.com/

If you would like help with this install/setup/verification contact Boyer & Associates and they can assist you with this.
