I'd find it very intrusive and obstructive that I can't go into our account details and delete a credit card you have on file. It is very cumbersome that I first need to send an email to support@spscommerce.com, then you guys send an email to us with a form we need to fill out, and then again we need to send this form back to you guys for you then to go into the system to delete it. That's an archaic method and should not exist with an online enabler. For example, on Amazon.com you can simply login to your own account and change credit card details or delete it.

I am sorry you have an issue with this process and find it time consuming, but this is what our billing system/process requires currently. This is done to protect the security of our customers, so that only a select number of people have access to our customers billing information.

If you do not wish for SPS Commerce to keep a card on file, for automatic payments, that is just fine. We do not keep/store your credit card information without your permission. There is a specific check box that must be marked through the link that is sent to update your credit card information. This box is to allow us to save your credit card information to set up automatic payments.

In the future you can determine if you would like to set up automatic payments or not. If you have further concerns you could contact our billing team at 888-739-3232 option 4.
