Is there a way to automatically populate the Available Date in the Detail\Quantity\Item Schedule of the Inventory Advice document with the current date plus 7 days? Sort of like a formula in Excel.

Hi Sheila! Thank you for your post!

It is not possible to input formulas into the inventory advice, and a great work around is to enter setup lookups. I have detailed the steps below on how to enter setup lookups so the 'Available Date' will source automatically based on the 'Report Date'.
1. Access the Defaults for the form you are working with, either by choosing 'Preferences' and then 'Defaults' or by opening a form and choosing 'Defaults' at the bottom.
2. Click the + to the left of Detail
3. Click the + to the left of Quantity
4. Click the + to the left of Item Schedule
5. Click the + to the left of Available Date
6. Delete out the current Available Date set
7. Click on 'Setup Lookups'
8. On the pop-up window, click on the + to the left of Header
9. Click on 'Report Date'
10. Choose 'OK'
11. Click the + for as many lines as you would like to do at this time
12. Choose the 'Report Date' from the dropdown menu, then choose the corresponding 'Available Date

Please click here if you would like to view a training video on working with Defaults.

Once the above steps are complete, and you have input as many days in the future as you would like, the 'Available Date' will automatically source in for each 'Report Date' in the setup lookups. Please let me know if you have any questions about this process! Thank you!
