Can anyone help me understand what the N1*LW segment on the 850 document is used for?

I cannot find an example of when the N1*LW has been used in and 850 transaction. Has anyone dealt with this in their current job?

I can take a guess...     LW=Customer   -  so if you interact with wholesaler/distributors/buying groups or process drop-ship orders...    this would provide the end-consumer address information purchasing from the dealer.        Just a guess

Good Morning Maria!

Every retailer uses a different combination of N101 identifier codes. However, if the 'LW' N101 option is for a specific retailer we can get an explanation from their specifications. Please let me know which retailer is sending this code and I would be glad to provide the meaning for the 'LW' identifier code.

Thank you for using Support Center!

Best,
