How do I create an ASN and Invoice for a PO with many stores?

I'm shipping Bed Bath & Beyond for the first time and the master PO that came in today has 966 stores listed inside it. Are they expecting 966 separate ASN's returned to them ? or one Master ASN the same way as the PO came in ?

Also, are they expecting 966 Invoices too ?

Bed, Bath and Beyond POs often come to us with many store locations. BBB has indicated they do want one ASN and one Invoice per Ship To Location. To optimize this process, we recommend setting Defaults and utilizing Auto-Complete. Before you get started, I highly encourage you to review these two training videos:

We have now used SPS to auto complete our BBB asn and invoices multiple times. I would say your service on this is less than optimal.

When we auto complete sometimes your system duplicates the asns (in a nonsensical order so we have to manually go through every one to find the dupes, and create the missed ones individually). This is a grueling process as we sometimes have thousands to go through at once.

Also, We will get 50% through the autocomplete and it crashes yet we don't know where it left off so we have to page by page delete the drafts and do it over.

My list of issues goes on and on... our experience with other vendors inside SPS has been A++ but with Bed Bath and Beyond I cannot say enough how incredibly time consuming and disappointing webforms is.

In fact we had support on two different occasions say it's crashing because you're trying to do it inside business hours (go figure). Try at 10pm-midnight hour and you may have better luck... which we did!!! we had a data clerk work from midnight - 2am to try out this theory--- no such luck.

I think this year we will have to generate all 5000 asns and invoices one by one to prevent error.

Our data girls cringe and moan and have to take shifts to complete such a tedious process... please improve this!!!

I understand your frustration.  This type of problem is found for a few of the larger retailers who send very large POs that involve lots of work in a short amount of time.  WebForms, as a product, struggles with this and it is something that we have been researching and working on resolving as we move into the new Fulfillment product that we are launching this year.

I'm not sure if that will completely resolve the issue, however the ability to process large amounts of data in a short amount of time into multiple ASN forms is something the product team has been looking at.

In the meantime, depending on how many of these POs you get a year, if you are truly looking to resolve the manual process, I would suggest working with your account executive to see if an integrated solution for BBB is the right move for you and your company.  WebForms will always be a mostly manual process and it is not designed to be as fluid as an integrated solution.  Integrated solutions are designed to handle these types of situations for lager orders.
