We are submitting ASNs for Forzani Group and they used to load in a separate popup window and I am assuming through Java just like the forms. Now the ASNs are being loaded in a new tab as a PDF with repeating Description and Size information and printing adjustments that need to be manually done before the PDF can be printed properly on our Zebra printer. Is this a new process for SPS Commerce to get away from Java and introduce PDF?

Thanks for the help!

Hi Sean,
You should be able to do the ASN from the PO as normal in WebForms. Try this by searching the PO # in the white box above your Inbox. One you find the corresponding PO you'll want to click on the orange 'Next Steps' arrow. Then click on "Advance Ship Notice."

Where you might be seeing the readable version of the ASN, or as you said PDF, instead of the actual editable form is in the Draft box or Sent box. If you Saved to Drafts you can always re-open the ASN by click on the 'Edit' icon which looks like a piece of paper and pencil, or from the orange 'Next Steps' button and then 'Edit.'

Does this answer your questions?

Please let me know how else I can help out.

Have a good day.

Hi Carrie,

It is not in the submission of the ASN - this process is still normal. But once the ASN is submitted and we attempt to print the Shipping Labels a new tab opens and the labels appear in a PDF format instead of the Java format they showed up as before.

Now when we try to access the shipping labels we get an Apache Tomcat/6.0.16 Error report (image attached).

Hi Sean,

Thank you for the clarification.  I am going to chime in here as Carrie is not yet in the office.  I was able to replicate the error above in your account as well as other accounts.  There was an update made to the form yesterday which seems to have caused an issue.  We have notified our Development Team and they are working diligently on the issue.  I or Carrie will keep you updated throughout the day.  Once the above issue is resolved, we can talk margins and preferences to reduce the manual adjustments you are needing to make.  Apologies for the error, as stated we will keep you updated!

Hi Sean,

I wanted to update you earlier, but the work has been taking time.  From what I see, it looks like the labels are in the final stages of Quality Assurance and should be released shortly (assuming no bugs).  My hope is that the lengthened development time today will fix both issues you listed above: the HTTP Status 501 error as well as the repeating information on the labels.  I or Carrie will continue to update this thread, thank you VERY much for your patience here.

Good morning Sean,

I received word at 5PM Central Time yesterday that the changes have been applied.  I have tested multiple documents within your account and it looks like both issues were resolved! (and they went with the Java labels as well).  Everything should be functional now, please do let myself know if you run into any issues.

As before, I really apologize for the inconvenience here.

Jordan
