SPS is rejecting our ASN due to "only one PO per ASN" but it is the same PO # listed twice in the raw data beacuse there were two pick tickets on the order.

Thank you for posting in the Support Center!

I took a look at the ASN and I'm seeing they do only want one PO per ASN, so even though it is the same PO, they may still error it out. 

I would suggest sending it without that extra HL line and see if that allows for a successful transmission.

If you do want to see if they will accept two HL lines with the same PO number in them, you will need to add the PRF and N1 lines afterwards to fill in that information.  Those are mandatory after an HL***O~ line. These missing lines are also creating an error in the system.  But, if you omit the second HL***O~ line, that error will not happen as well.

If you truly want to add in the second PO number for the ASN, you can reach out to your trading partner and let them know that the ASNs are being rejected due to the two POs being on the ASN and see what they recommend as best practices.  We recommend keeping the ASNs at one PO as that was the communicated requirements when we set up the error checks, but you can always explore the question further with the trading partner.
